7Bolt Motor Bends a rod...
this motor came out of my 95 gsx. i guess it spun a bearing...which led to more issues. (i purchased the car like this knowing it had motor issues...)

just imagine the noises this motor was making before it decided to stop turning.
i can just picture the previous owner telling his mechanic about a "tick" or "weird noise" and the mechanic saying "don't worry about it...i'm sure its just a lifter."
then the previous owner saying "well it seems to be a little down on power..." and the mechanic saying something like "ah..don't worry about it...we'll take a look at it next time its due for an oil change."

anyone who dislikes 4g63's because of crankwalk hasn't spent enough time working on/tuning these motors. with a bolt on turbo, 300+whp is very easy to reach.

yes sir. They're crazy, my brother has a 1g tsi ('90) but it's a geyser of oil right now. Maybe the rebuild wasn't done properly. I don't know. But it's nice, I'm just scared of getting one cuz of all the horror stories, plus living proof at my own home. LOL
