picking up an accord, what to look for?
Yea what he said and also find out if the speedo is stuck at 20 when you turn it on because it could have more mileage. My speed sensor is still dorky. It will work sometimes and other times it will stay at 20.
Oh and make sure its a manual....DUH!!! If you have any questions just hit me up. Cause I own a 95 accord. and i lover it. Are you getting a SOHC or DOHC?

There are no US DOHC 5th gen accords with stock engines.
But yeah be careful with the spedo..... I know they fail a lot mine did at 22k. Check the door jam for a sticker saying it was replaced and at what mileage.

ya'll forgot to mention oil leaks, look around the oil pan in and around the engine for oil residue. also checks aroun the distributor for oil leaks. O you'll better or buying a manual accord. Automatics in an accord is not worth. good LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
What they all said ... and then test drive it.. if it runs good then.. it'll more than likely run good as long as you keep up the regular maintenance .. Honda makes good engines dude.... i mean, ... i have a '95 Accord w/ +234,xxx miles on it and it still runs like a charm... good car man..... get it
