Want other crx owners opinions...
Well, I am working on my passenger door and fender, but am afraid that I can't make them perfect again without replacing them.

Also, I am unable to find a replacement door, and have been looking for days online and in every junk yard I come across....so my other option here is, unless someone has a better idea, it to get a 6 piece body kit with door caps so I can HIDE the damage. I can't afford a whole lot on this, but I do have a buddy who has a mugen body kit never installed that he'll sell me for a decent price.
Now, I'd like some other opinions about this. If anyone has an idea that would work for me, I will definetly consider it!

You could get just the door skin and put it on there. http://www.hondaautomotivepart...PANEL #3,4
The fender my be fixable but I would just replace it too.
You are going to need those pieces straight to get a body kit to fit on there correctly and to fit well.

I did consider it, and that may be the route I go as I do like the stock look. However, there is a good deal of rust on the bottom part of the door that sits above the door sill (actually ruined the door sill) This can problably be fixed up as well.

CRX Toad, I just noticed your near Charlotte...where abouts are you located? I'm in Morganton. Also see you said a 'buckeye'...not from Ohio are you???
There is some welds that need to be cut out and then it will have to be welded back on. That is the route I would go.
Have you tried Beaver's in Mooresville? Huge Honda/Acura yard
Beavers Auto Salvage & Body Shop 9455 Smith Rd Kannapolis, NC 28081-8544 (704) 932-8690
Actually I am just a little southeast of Charlotte in Waxhaw and Yes I am originally from Mansfield, Ohio, very close to where CRXBart is.

That'd be excellent as my parents still live in Jeromesville, and I frequently visit or they come down.....If you can find a passenger door (with panel if its possible in good shape) front pass fender and let me know what they're going for, that'd be sweet! I remember when I was up there with my first two crx's, I found ALL the parts I could ever want over in Crestline, but down here.....wheres theres hardly any rust, you cant find a thing!

I actually live in crestline. I just say mansfield because most people don't know about crestline. I'm 2 minutes from Moyer's. Your car is a 90-91 right? If I can find myself a clean pair of 88 doors I'll sell you my pass. side.

I appreciate that too! But thats ok...I can get my dad to head that way and get them, and he can bring them down here when they come to visit....or next time I go up there.....as I'm STILL moving down here!
well, I originally moved to Raleigh for a job, and they moved me out here...I support my companies computers mainly at a state mental facility, and I also take care of the rest of the western part of the state(Department of social services, child services, health and human services, etc) Its a good job, and was WELL worth the move... How about you?
