Hi
has anyone found a good body filler to mold on a widebody bodykit on? Most of the ones i have seen start to crack around where it has been molded to the car. Thanks

You should ask this question in the Appearance/Comestic forum. You'll get more help there. Don't listen to anyone here, if you like how stuff looks on your car...DO IT!

JDM is overrated anyways.

Yea man. Probably the wrong place to ask this question. Most of us don't like body kits here. However, if you spend some time here, you will grow out of the 'body kit is cool' thing. I've been there done that.

Agreed.

OP. Appearance / Cosmetic is a good place for this.

I'm not going to argue your idea of a body kit. It's your choice.

As for molding, it is one of the worst things you can do to your car though and you will regret it later on down the road. You will spend more time fixing that car and more money on bondo then you will gas. On top of that, it makes your car cheap, heavy, and ugly. On top of that, they will ALL crack from the air constantly hitting it and from you hitting ****. Bondo or any fillers don't do well with stress, especially when it's on parts that are supposed to flex somewhat. That's the reason why your front/rear bumpers are urethane, not metal from the factory.

Ya. For a while I thought like a ricer, I was like "Damn, if I am spending money on something I want people to notice." Hence my purchase of altezza's.
But I grew out of that stage over the winter, so I never even installed the altezzas .

Now I am all about people not noticing my mods, don't want to attract theives or street racers trying to race, me all the time. And I like the clean look too.
