whats better b16a or a d16yb in my 89 dx crx?
i just wanna no what would b better for mi crx b16 or d16y8 there both n my price range but! i dont no the hp n trq for the d16y8 if ne 1 no tell me plz

B16 all the way. 160 hp w/8k rpm redline where as the d16y8 only has like 130 hp and 6.8k rpm redline. Stock for stock the B16 is better.

no i jus need a swap for mi rex to bet ma cuzins 5.0 but it aint stock tho but im jus lookin for sumthin stong n fast n unda 2 g`s i no a h22 will smash all ova mi cuz!

here i got a idea!!! get a cheap lil ZEX kit used for say 200-300 buxs (100 shot) hook it up to ur lil DX and then woop ur cuz and call it a day... if all u waan do is beat one lil 5.0 then go that way.. it will save u about $1800

dont spray, no way, i have seen someones sig on here "nos is like a chick with a std you wanna do it but your scared of the effects" anyways a b16 would be alot easier to fit your rex other then a h22, with a h22 you would have to cut and weld and stuff to your bay. With a b16 they make special swap mounts that will let it fall right in

nitrous is safe.
i ran a 100shot direct port on a stock internal B16 forever with no problems at all.
its like anything you tune, proper a/f ratio, colder spark plugs, great gas.... and you can have a safe and reliable nitrous motor.
for the people who blew their **** up on a 50 shot, you either did it wrong, or had a beat motor in the first place. and most of the rumors are from people who never used the juice at all.

dude i dont know wat u guys trip on spray is not bad if u use it right.. use the zex kit its like fail safe... its throttle activated, automaticly dumps more fuel in...etc etc... i ran a 75 shot on my hatch with a SOHC zc.. i got a B&M fuel pres. reg. and turned up my fuel 5 psi just to be safe and used ZEX plugs.. i compression tested it before and after i ran it.. there was NO change... me and 4 buddys all have spray in our cars and dont have ANY probs with them
