My LS head made 500whp on 19lbs on pump gas.

tannerLSt should be deep int he 600s with race gas.

I said it once, I'll say it again... the LS's are coming on strong this year.

Maybe it's just the angle of the picture... but the pistons almost look like they are in backwards.

I just realized that B18A/B blocks have the head dowl pin on the intake side and the B18C1/5 blocks have the dowl pin on the exhaust side. So says the service manual.

You dont need that Pro1 damper at all with the hasport mounts. Its just a wast of money, weight and space.

Id have to say I think your rods are the weak spot in the mix. It will defentally be a sick setup.

Post the plots once its tuned.

Thats not a thermal coating buddy. Thats a friction reducing moly coating applied to all Wiseco pistons.

THIS is a thermal coating on the top and moly on the skirts.

I'm almost positive those are in backwards. Maybe it has been fixed since the picture though.

Great looking build. Cant wait to see it lay down some track times

yeah i was thinking the same thing..the valve reliefs on the intake side are smaller than the ones on the exhaust, it looks like the pistons are in backwards

600whp should not be hard. We've made 580 with the stock fuel line in my car, we've been lazy and not done line upgrades in the car. We also turn the engine 9000 rpm all last season with no problems.

i'm hoping if i run enough boost the wastegate will be ok, the head should hold up pretty well

it's not going be sufficient. go ahead and get the 44mm before you get to far in it. Im only going to be at 450ish but It's a neccesity when you reach that horsepower. Do it now. Not saying it can't be done but........u know how this stuff goes tanner
