like does it take more EFFORT to push in? and is this a cable tranny? if so the clutch pressure plate might be meant for the Hydraulic trannsmissions,i'm in the same boat as you, i have the obd0 b16 with the S1 cable tranny and i bought hydraulic clutch-pressure plate for my b-series tranny, all i can say its not too bad for me i haven't broken any pedals or anything it does require a LOT more effort then my prior tranmission did...but if its breaking your pedals then thats a problem.....i'm wondering if i should have anything to worry about now too...so hopefully someone helps out here! heh sry i know i wasn't any help..

it releases later and its hard to get it to open to get it in gear.
if i had a pic it would be easy to describe.

the brake and clutch petal a connected and the brake has 2 renforcements that hold it there one on each side of the petal and the clutch petal has a bolt that T off from the brake renforcement and the bolt bends and brakes off is it because of the stage 3 clutch being so stiff. is there a way to fix this.

it s a Y1 Lsd and the clutch is a XTD Stage 3 Cable clutch i think i can weld a piece of metal on the bolt and then to the floor so it can bend

Sounds like something is wrong if its that hard to push...I have a clutch specialties Stage 3 and it is fairly easy to push in...could you have put the clutch disc in wrong/backwards? Have you driven the car? Did you replace the throw out bearing and reassmble it properly?

What kind of crazy motor setup do you have that requires a stage 3 clutch!? stage 3 is usually for full drag race cars or some crazy setup.

no crazy setup the clutch is a cheap ebay one. yes its a 6 puck but the clap load is the same as a stage 2 act clutch. so instead of buying a 450$ clutch u can get one for about 150 plus my friends ls can get a 3rd gear stratch all day long one night he hit a 4 gear, but it was a little wet out.

the clutchmasters stage 3 is good for like 350whp i wouldnt say that is serious power. its about average if you are running like 10-15psi depending on the kit used
