RSX Choice!!
Just needed a little advice on a car purchase!
I have a chance to buy 1 of 2 cars. The first one is a 2002 black Type-S with factory lip kit, foglights and 2 sets of wheels (Aspec and normal) that come with it only problem is it has 82k on the car. I know its alot but he is selling it for a really good deal like 11.5k. Now the second one is a, 2003 Silver Type-S without fogs or factory lip kit with 68k on it and is selling for 13k.
Both cars are in great condition inside and out and have clean car faxes, and are one owner cars with no accidents on record!

Ok, well first thing is, what do you want to do with the car? Daily driver? Mod it? Since you're here, I'm guessing mod. Overall, the first car has a lot of miles but a lot of options. Black is a pain to keep clean. Silver is easier.
Are you going to get a body kit? If so, I'd go for the newer silver, A-Spec kit would go to waste.
Ok, then new question: Engine work? NA or Boost? If engine work is done, miles won't matter that much since you'll rebuild or replace a bunch of internals. Boosted w/ just bolt ons, consider the milage a bad thing.
That is a ton of miles, I've got an 03 with 42k on it and I drove it from Washington DC to Los Angeles, twice.
For a $2k difference, imho I would get the newer model. It'll hold the value longer should you choose to sell it in the near future.
But I will say that with the RSX discontinued here in the states, then zenki model lip kit is going to be harder and harder to find (authentic, anyway).

Thanks for the input! I think Im going to get the 03, I kind of want the newer one. I think Im going to keep it NA for this year and next year I might start a turbo build! I am gonna miss the lip kit though. Oh, well good excuse for the Type-R lipkit.
