not to familiar with the 1st gens,,this is a 86 crx for sale and i emailed the seller she doesnt know if its si dx or hf....i figured its an si cuz the lip and sunroof but what do i know..

 

yea..looks like it...from the alloy's....o and yea if its got the sun-roof...yea its def. an Si+ the lip you mentioned too..

 

those are 86 crx si wheels alright. i just got one yesterday. needs a fender tho

 

it looks like a Si to me but idk its hard to tell from the pic...you have to watch 1st gen though because alot of ppl put those rims on them, so its hard to tell just by rims...if it were me i would get the vin # and just do a carfax on it, it should tell ya.

Plus the lip doesn't look stock. Could be an Si lip, but doesn't match the bumper. http://www.redpepperracing.com...id=85

well the wheels is one way it looks like an Si but you cant really tell. i cant see if it has a sunroof or not, but another way you can tell is if you pop the hood. if its fuel injected then its a Si, but if its carbarated then its not.

 

thnks guys..i went to go look at it today is an si,,has fuel injection 1.5 sohc engine and working sunroof..found out grandma had the car before so it is low miles and mint mint mint..

i think i might buy it..how is the theft rate of these.??

I doubt the 87 and older CRX theft rate is too high. I wouldn't want to steal that car and I don't think the parts get that high of a black market value.
