fedex guy came today...after so long of wanting and waiting for the cleanest set i could find, i finally stumbled on these recently and thought i'd share my excitement with my fellow itr heads. my brother bought my stock 15s and i dont feel comfortable at all using my mugens for daily ritual, so i am so stoked i found these in such great condition.
granted there are some minor curb-checks, but all were in excellent physical shape and now look even better after i touched-up the blemishes with factory touch-up paint. only the lip edges had some scratches. now i just need some tires...
anyway, on to the pics

yes indeed, it is and WAS a bitch and a half to obtain these. i've seen absolute flawless ones in the past and those are the super rare ones. the champ white version is way more common, so my search for gunmetal ones made the hunt even harder. i'm relieved to have settled on these... not 100% perfect, but considering i'm not the original owner and they came from halfway around the world, i am stunned at how clean they turned out to be
i dont know how soon i'll be able to grab a set or rubber as getting the wheels alone set me back, but i'll post some pics when that day arrives...thanks for the approval guys

actually my dream tires for this set would be the oem issue re010 in 16in, but i know i cant have them without spending the loot. i would love to keep the original oem spec, so i think i'll search for ones in 215-45. any suggestions?

Your white balance was probably off a little, causing some of that "bronze" tint.
Congrats on getting the wheels, they look breathtaking. I would literally hesitate to put tires on them... Just put a large sheet of glass on them and make them a table... they will retain their value.
Imagine getting/finding/affording these in 2018? We're coming to a turning point soon......

but alas, life is too short so i have to appreciate them now and put them to use. but for what its worth, i'm one of the most **** and discriminating itr owners there ever was, so rest assured all my parts are well-taken care of and preserved for future appreciation
