Default rear fog lights on DC2 integra

i know it is kind of ricey, but i was thinking about getting rear fogs on my car. i don't want to cut a hole in my bumper for the JDM or EU fog housing so i thought of this. i will sacrifice the left reverse light as a fog light. going to paint the reverse light lens red to match the rest of the housing and then rewire the left bulb to a pre-existing foglight switch on my center console. what do you guys think? i think it still would look clean.

Sounds retarded, don't get it if you're not even going to put it in the right place.

I think the rear fog lights on the teg look nice
but not if you're gonna do it up there.
wouldn't look right at all.

you know that would serve no purpose? having the rear foglight is to be able to be seen by people behind you and getting the light lowest to the ground possible because the fog is less dense near the ground... if youre gonna put it in the rear reverse whats the point when they can see your parking lights on???

Rear fogs are sick, do the orig though if you're gonna do it at all. They're definitly functional too. I've seen em in action in Europe and they help a lot.

If you actually notice european cars that come with this feature stock, IE mercedes, audi , etc. They actually have it exactly where the brake light is. Once you turn the switch on for them, it just lights up your left brake light all the time as if you were braking. It basically looks like your right brake light is out.

So by having a rear fog light up where your rest of your tail lights are is not pointless. The whole point is being able to see an extra bright red light on the car.

I believe they have it somewhere on the trunk area.

I know for a fact that CRX have theirs in the tail light, middle section. Actually just like what the original poster is describing, in the reverse light.
