d15 question

Default d15 question

i have a d15 std and a dx. what can i do to this motor without rebuilding them to get extra hps. like a d16 head? mpfi swap. anything else and where how do i know what a d16 looks likt compared to a d15??? HELP i'm poor and stupid

First of all, in order to go anywhere, you need to convert to mpfi. Don't just put an si manifold on it because the si cam is better than a dx and especially a std.use the whole head. That'll give about 10-15 hp I don't know. Headers, exhaust, maybe a vtec head. All these things can be gotten for cheap. Also, clutch, street flywheel, I wouldn't get a cam for it unless u got the vtec head. A vtec head, headers, intake ,exhaust, chipped ecu with at least a si tranny, should do high 14's at least. Ok maybe 15's. I had a dohc zc in my si hatch( heaviest model) and it ran a 15.4 quarter mile.
