flywheel bolts?
hey guys,
i want to get some suggetions why my flywheel bolts came lose?? i put **** load of red lock-tight and tq. down to 87.now i to everything apart and cleaned the threads reaplied more locktight and tq them down to 95 ft pounds.now my question is im not useing the flywheel cover plate do u think that could be the prob why they backed out on me twice??i know **** can get caught in there so dont tell me that.just throw me some ideals

i hope you're not using automatic flex plate bolts for your flywheel...
I have never used loctite on flywheel bolts..honda doesnt say to, so i dont use it...

nah you dont need that fly wheel cover. with out it you sport that pretty blue flywheel. i was afraid id get rocks in mine. and when i did i just got em out. didnt hurt a thing.
if the bolt keeps coming loose it sound like you might have a mechanical problem. perhaps excessive vibration. or made worn out threds
