MY 2000 LX IS A SALVAGED CAR!@!#@ I just found this out 3 days ago....i would of never thought........i talked to my lawyer (cuz its illegal to sell a salvaged car in my state) and he talked to the dealer i got it from......they'll give me any car i choose from there dealership as long as i drop the case..........i was thinking of getting this 2001 prelude SH they had but im not sure........give me some ideas......btw...there chain of dealerships sell honda, mazda, ford, porche, daewoo, hundai, chevy, pontiac and vw

yea i kinda wanna stick with honda...or atleast something i can put some work into cuz its fun......porche would be nice but theres nothing much you can really add for performace.....

 

Nothing you can do to a Porsche, eh? Pick up the latest edition of Road and Track (May 2002), and flip to the article that starts on page 64. They reviewed a Hamann-tuned Ferrari 360 Modena, a Hamann-tuned Z8, and a 620hp TechArt Porsche GT2. Go to http://www.techart.de/ for more information. If they don't hand you a Porsche, I would either get an S2000 or a Corvette Z06 (the new ones have 405hp and 0-60 is 4.0s). Or you could just get the most expensive one, and then sell it, so you could build some crazy Honda.

 

How about taking those funny little things like,INSURANCE and MAINTENANCE fees into account when choosing your car?

Get a Porsche and then sell it when you cannot afford the insurance?

I really doubt they'll give the guy a damn Porsche.

I'd take an S200 if they will give you one. Insurance is still going to **** you up.

How about this?

If they truly give you a car and it is paid for totally, get the most expensive one and then SELL it and buy something else like an older Civic and swap in a motor, build the ultimate car according to your standards.



Please keep us posted because I find it hard to believe that they will just give up ANY car - unless your potantial lawsuit would put them out of business...

 

Yeah I agree you should get the most expensive one they have and sell it. Get a cheaper one so that insurance doesn't go too high, do a swap and make it look good. I know it sucks to have gotten a salvaged car but in the end........ you got some luck.
