took a fall a while ago, question about bike
Hi, brand new to the bike section. A few months back I took a fall (due to inexperience, but i have taken the msf) right on my own street. I flew off the bike as it hit the back of a truck. Thanks goodness I was wearing gear, i've heard too many stories and I knew I'd drop it sooner or later. Anyways, my question is if I should fix the bike or just sell it as it is? How much do you think it would cost to repair it? How much do you think it should be sold for?
the bike is a yellow 2003 ninja 250r with about 21,xxx miles on it. It recently just had a tune up and used to run smooth. The front rim is fine, but it looks like pretty much everything in the front is broken. I'm sure someone would need more information to guess on how much it would cost, so just ask and I'll try to answer your questions becuase I don't know much about bike repair. I'd like to put this bike back together but i'm on a low budget so i'd like to know if its not worth it, and how much i can get out of it. thanks.
here are some pics.

and yea, i know its not a honda, but i'm too scared to get onto an rr. but i wouldn't mind having one just to look at.

Wow, better hope ISteerBMWs doesn't seen this thread... he'll use it as evidence that 250s aren't "the answer" for new riders until the cows come home and rot into E coli.
Were it me I'd just sell it for parts and get a new one. They're never the same after a crash.

Hell this is more proof TO start on a 250.
