I went to a local installer this weekend, and he was pushing a line of speakers and amps made in Sweden called DLS. I checked out their website, guess they have won quite a few sound competitions here and overseas in the past few years.

How do these speakers compare to MB and BA? What's the price range? Is anybody actually using some of the components in their car right now?

Well albert, you can speak to their amps - I currently use the DLS Ultimate Iridium 6.3's. I think they are great speakers - pretty laid back, and the three way install is super easy due to the fact that it uses a closed back dome midrange. I get plenty of midbass output from them, and the tweeter is fairly versatile.

DLS has won plenty of competitions stateside as well. I do have a few gripes about their systems, but not too many, mainly the ugly *** grilles and the tweeters are very deep.

give em a listen and see what you think. The only set from MB I would even CONSIDER over the DLS is the Q series. As for BA, I have not actually heard a set of BA speakers in years. The price range - as your dealer, but beware of ebay, there are a ton of fakes coming out of Asia right now.
