which car are you putting it into? Which ECU and which O2 sensor?

are you sure you're connecting it to the right wire?

be warned they are just a light show. pretty much worthless unless there is a serious major problem.

it sounds like you have everything connected right, do you have a volt meter to check what voltage is on the O2 signal wire? it should be 0-1 volt. if it's more then the gauge would do what you describe.

You might as well sell it. Unless its hooked to a wideband O2 sensor, its pretty much useless.

You have to drive around, The autometer gauges don't have a real good tolerance for running rich or lean. Also you have to let it heat up first. So drive the car around for 30 minutes and it will work. Also most of the time it will be no lights, last green (rich) or red (lean). It will only hit "stoich" when it's passing through from rich to lean of vise versa.

Also the Autometer air/fuelk is useless. It only shows you within one volt (narrowband) if you are rich or lean. Nothing in the middle and definitly what your mixture actually is. It's just a blingy type gauge no real data comes from it. Only goo air/fuel are AEM UEGO and plaxo units.
