Greddy is comming out with headers for the v6. They are 800 bucks but only make 1/2 the power that the Comptech ones do.

Dont know about the CL Type S tranny being boltup to the car or not but the 5 speed out of the old acura legend can be used with some major modifications to mounts and stuff. Here is a post where I already addressed this issue: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=160285

VAFC, yes they are good, but if you can afford it, go with a stand-alone, Hondata, DFI, Haltech: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=157504
Tranny: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=160285

Header: You get what you pay for with most aftermarket headers. Comptech makes the only set as far as I know. As far as the price goes, your not buying 1, your getting 2, and they are good quality and make alot of power. I dont know why your complaining.

You dont even need to do a search, just look around the last 5 pages or so before you ask a question! This is getting REALLY old.

once again- like i said on the other post- you may lost VTEC capabilities changing to manual...even with the legend...

unless you have loads of mods- I/H/E..there really isn't much of a point to get the VAFC...plus- don't get it and just screw around with it at home...you'll need to do many dynos to get the settings right so you don't run lean/rich...so if you get it now...you'll have to redo all the dyno stuff everytime you get a new mod to get the full potential out of it- plus I think Unichip is better for the V6 if you have don't have direct ignition..

headers? well if you PM before the end of the day- i know of a group buy that's ending today for comptech...don't want to get FLAMED for talking about other sites...

Loss of VTEC has already been adressed and there is a fix out there. People have done it on http://www.V6accord.com

There's a good deal on ebay right now for Comptech headers. I think the cost is $1050 + $40 shipping so $1090 is about $20 less than I've ever found. I bought my headers from this guy, good service.
