Question about A/C fan switch.
I know that on a few cars, like the turbo DSM, out there when the A/C switch is "on" the swcondary fan for A/C will come on and stay on until it turns off. I want to know if the same thing applies for our cars?
I think it comes on and stays on until you actually turn off the blower motor or turn off the ac switch.
Its not like radiators which cycles on and off.The ac compressor does that.

Actually, when the A/C is on, the condensor fan AND radiator fan BOTH cycle on and off with the compressor while the car is sitting still. Furthermore, on a car equipped with A/C, the condensor fan cycles on and off with the radiator fan even with the A/C off.

so my second question is that if it stays on what is triggering it to turn on in the first place? Is it the condensor/ECU or is the signal coming from the A/C switch itself? Also if I turn the A/C switch to the "on" position would the fans stay on or would they still cycle? The reason I ask is because on turbo DSM's when the A/C switch is on the fans will come on and stay on until you depress the switch or the engine goes under a certain temp.
