Will this motor fit the stock automatic transmission in my 89 Civic DX Hatchback?

I am considering the thought of not having to go through the task of swapping to manual and just using an automatic tranny with a really nice stall converter.

Well would a B series automatic transmission fit into my car without very much hassle at all?

 

Man, do the swap. I did it and it took me about 10 hours of work to actually do the swap, my time was just spread out over a long period. I can guide you along the way. I wish I could be there and just do it for you but you live way to far haha. Email me if you need info.

 

No the b series automatic transmissions are much larger than the 5spd and will not bolt into the 88-91 ciivc/crx chassis without alot of work as far as I know. IMO if you are going to swap just bite the bullet and do an auto to manual conversion.
