The dx is DPFI not MPFI.

Use your stock wiring harness and do the MPFI convertion. Good luck running vtec of a PM6 tho haha. You ned a OBD0 Vtec ECU, or do OBD1 and go from there.

dx is dual point, you cant have a multipoint on a dual point engine....

anyways to answer your question it is a very good idea to get a si or hf tranny it would save you alot of time wiring, for it comes straight off a multi point car.

You do how ever have the option to wire your car from dpfi to mpfi, you have to add a few wires to the harness' that plug into your ecu.

http://www.norcalcrx.org/dropp...p.htm - - - Try here it has a complete swap instructions and help on how to wire you dpfi to mpfi as well as vacuum diagrams and all :D

http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Wr...g.PDF

http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/t...g.htm - This one is the best one ive seen, i would ignore the zc part its all for the same purpose of changing dpfi to mpfi

http://www.norcalcrx.org/droppedcrxsi/vacuum1.htm - This is also a vacuum diagram trust me you'll most likely need unless you have them marked, but I bought a complete swap so it came with a new one, I unfortantly had to find a diagram. If you have any other questions I have some good sources, I have been doing my first B16a swap over the last week its going pretty good so far but its having trouble starting
