Need Advice: how should I sell my bike for??
ok before u guys mention a price, my situation is kinda weird. I bought my R6 the first week it came out, Valentines day of 03. As u can expect, I got raped. paid over 10k otd. but whatever, thats my fault. i also got jacked on interest rate, 12.25%. ive been paying 200/month for over 3 years, and i have a little under 3 years left. after paying 7600 bucks or so, i owe like 5800 or some **** like that. being the stubborn person that i am, i decided expletive it ill keep it since im paying like 14k for it in the end. well, the only way i got it was one of my best buddies was cool enough to co-sign it for me. i owe him big time, and now it's my turn to repay the favor. he met the love of his life, and he wants to propose. but the jewelery place said they wont give him much of a credit line because of the existing bike loan. so now im **** out of luck. he's a really cool guy and wont force me to sell it, but i can take a hint. now i know i lose A LOT of money in the end, but I dont wanna get raped more than i need to. Its an 03 special edition (black/red flame) r6. payoff is like 6k. no matter what happens, i'm giving my buddy 1k on top for helpin me out with this. so technically payoff is 7k. how how much do i sell the bike for. if i owned it outright, i was thinkin low 5's. but now i think i should hold out for 6250, since these special editions are gettin kinda rare. what do u guys think? take another fat hit and just sell it quick, so my boy can propose?? or hold out so i can at least pay the bitch off?? how much would u guys say its worth. 03. STOCK. 9k miles. either way im out hella money and soon to be bike-less
Why don't you refinance it? I'm sure with 3 years of good payments (well, hopefully you've been paying on time), you will be able to refinance it in your name only. You get your bike, and your friend gets his ball-n-chain.

cause my credit alone isnt too bad, but not good enough for a bike. my car and school is still under me, and as do not have enough income to support so many loans, the bank already said no.
