Are you running 215 wide tires? How is your steering effort?

With tires like 215/55 R 15 or 16, is the tread width interfering with the steering effort? Do you have any comments on this size of tire? Do they hit any part of the car, like on bumps or turns? Thanks.

I'm driving a 1990 Accord EX 2-dr, with the stock Honda 15 in aluminum wheels.
