TROUBLE SHOOTING CEL PROBLEM 4th GEN LUDE w/ h22a4 swap

Default TROUBLE SHOOTING CEL PROBLEM 4th GEN LUDE w/ h22a4 swap

i got a problem with my prelude hrmm lets see if you prelude experts can trouble shoot for me ??? .... i have a 4th gen prelude and it has a 00 prelude h22a4 swap and ive been using an h23a1 p14 ecu and its been running fine ,.... but today i just plugged up a p13 obd1 vtec ecu in and VTEC KICKS IN REALLY STRONG AND HARD but after awhile the check engine light comes on ,..... i could turn off the car and it will disapear but it will reappear again if i hit vtec really hard????? whats wrong with my car ????

Jump the connector - read the code. Report back to us.

Can't really tell you what can be wrong. Have you tried actually using an OBDII computer with the car?

i can tell you right now that the reason vtec pulls so hard is the fuel is ALL wrong.. if you swapped in a h22a4 is has 290cc injectors and trying to run it with a p13 ob1 expects 345cc so your was under fueling the car.. second i hope if you are using the 290cc obd2 injectors you removed the resistor box also the p14 expects 240cc injectors so if your runing the 290cc witht he p14 your runing too rich

best peice of advice stop mixing and matching ecus and motors. what ever electronics are on your car thats the ecu you should run. also im willing to be you have a fuel related code, probably o2 to rich or o2 to lean..
