i got pulled over tonight at around midnight for "wreckless driving" i was out crusing the highway and wanted to turn around and meet my friend in an integra so i put on my blinker and turn into the median which had a redlight.... waiting on the light to turn green and it does so i start off to make a U turn in first as anyone would do coming from a dead stop and hit a patch of gravel and spin; i immediatly shift to second and left off the gas. next thing i know this car is speeding up behind me then i see its a cop (no lights are on except regular head lights) and i turn to go down main street and im doing the speed limit which i havent broken at any point and after about 2 miles he hits the lights. he comes up to my car looking at the rear end, then the S2000 badge and finally me. he asked to see my licence, registration, insurance [the usual] and i hand it to him without any trouble being very polite and he asked it i have recieved a ticket for wreckless driving before. as i have not i responded with "no" and he tells me to wait as usual. another car pulls up so im getting scared then the other officer asked me to step out after the car checking my ID has gotten out of his car. he writes me a warning and sends me on my way with a useful tip for next time i hit gravel or some situation as such..... HIT THE BRAKES. (sorry about run ons and ect. im sleepy and still a little bit scared because i am on probation and if i get any tickets before august i lose my license for quite a while.)

 

wow what a story. and why would he go through all the trouble if he just wanted to give you a friendly reminder to hit the brakes next time.....cops have nothing to do i can't stand them.

i am totally thankful i got no ticket, also thankful i didnt follow his advice and still have my car. i wish he would hit the brakes while losing traction and hit a ditch. ******* cops. sorry if this thread doesnt belong here, i thought s2k drivers would find it more funny than the FF guys. as far as him giving me a freindly reminder he was pretty pissed sounding. he told me to go the speed limit and seeing how as i never broke 50 in a 55 then when i saw a cop was behind me i was doing 40 i dont know why i thought i would do that. constantly i do 45 to 50 in the 55 around here. papasmurf whats itbl? im not very good with the lettering.
