In a B16, 11.5 is good. In a gsr or ls/vtec, you can get away with 11.1 with the M22's. What are your engine mods and are you tuning with anything?

my engine mod is just the basic IHE... my stock comp right now is 10.6 and im planning to raise it up .7 more with high comp valve and 2 layer hg.. so that would yield me to 11.3. if i do get these cams, i will get their valvetrain also.. and tune it with hondata later on.. does this sounds right? or do i need something else like fuel pressure regulater

Best question in this thread.

With the new compression M22X's will work good. If you have a stock manifold or a lowend header they'll work nice. Good header and they'll work great.

So what ur saying is, this is going in a JDM h22 if this is so I say go with the M22 I have not used these cams but I've heard a lot of good things about them.

Allot of times they do yes because so many people put them in super mild motors, like a stock B16 and then they rant and rave at how there top end is so much better. In a motor that is a good canidate for a S2S2, they actually have pretty decent midrange.

yes they definately would lag on a stock b16 but with any engine over 11:1 they should work fine

i did some research and pulled up that the s2s1 actually provide better midrange then the s2s2... but the s2s2 will eat up nething on top end
