i have a 93 del sol si and i swapped the tranny off and put in a y8. my dad threw away my old tranny before i found this out. the y8 shift linkage is about 3-4 inches too short. will a shift linkage off a z6 from a civic work? or do i need one from a d16z6 del sol ?

 

you will need either the Z6 or Y8 shiftlinkage from a Del Sol.

 

ya, has to be from a D16 delsol, can't take one from a reg civic

WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO TO THE NEAREST PICK-AND PULL OR DISMANTLER CIVIC PLACE WITH YOUR SHIFT LINKAGE TO SEE IF THEY COULD LET YOU COMPARE FOR WHAT YOU NEED.

there's nothing to compare. he needs a D-series shiftlinkage from a 93-97 Del Sol.
