Tranny Fluid
To change the tranny fluid, you need a 17mm and a 3/8" drive ratchet. Get under the car on the passenger's side and you will see a bolt with a square cut out, it has a longer head than the other bolts. Your 3/8" ratchet will fit right in there, loosen it to drain the fluid. Behind and above it is the fill hole, you might want to open that first to make the draining quicker and smoother. Once it's drained, put the drain bolt back in. Now use a funnel with a tube (I use fuel hose) and get it in the fill hole, holding the funnel at the top of the tranny where you can get to it. Now just start filling it up, until it dribbles out the fill hole. Make sure the car is level while you fill it. It's kind of a pain to do, it takes a while for the oil to go through the tube. You can also use other holes on the tranny to fill it, as long as you leave that hole open so you know when it's done, personally I always use the fill hole. Use either Honda MTF or 10W40. I use motor oil because that's what the manual says, and with the number of times I've had to drain the damn tranny I would be even more broke using Honda MTF.

im assuming what u mean by not sealed is the little oil seal that's attached to the tranny when u pull off the axles. it looks like an o-ring with a spring around the circumference (sp)

I always, always do a run thru on a tranny fluid swap. It's a good idea to clean up the bottom of the casing. Simply run thru some 10w30 to pick up any old crap laying at the bottom. Then simply start filling her up until the check plug starts leaking out, making sure the car is level, let the fluid level off at the check plug (that's the 17mm plug). Simply add until you are certain it's levelled off and not low. Then plug it up and seal her up. I've done personally (since I worked at a lube shop) 200 manual transmission flush, it's always what I've done, and I've never had a problem. The stock D series in cable take 10w30 out of factory. You can upgrade to Honda Manual or Syncromesh if you feel the tranny is worn out.
Mine was leaking from the axel seal and the actual seal from the transmission cuz my bro opened it and didn’t use the right gasket. But some people say that it also leak from the shift linkage.
i seen the oil from my driver side axle, of couse where the axle goes into the tranny. kinda greasy around there. but yea so i need to push it in more or buy a new gasket it or something. ether way i would have to go thru the step like im changing my axle?

ok, just so you don't mess anything up, first of all the manual says it takes 2.7 quarts, which is what mine took when i last filled it, and if your not sure what tranny you have, just fill it until it leaks out the fill hole, the fluid level is supposed to be at the exact height of the fill hole, so you don't need to worry about doing it wrong, and just buy 3 quarts, because i garuntee ure gonna need more than 2, you may even wanna buy a 4th, cuz if u haven't done it in a while, i always like to buy a **** quart of oil and run it through to get the old stuff out
