how do i get the tps sensor off to put it on a diff. throtle body?

 

Last I heard you have to drill the bolts out, not very fun. Look on ebay, you can usually find cheap ones.

 

yeah unless you have a jdm throttle body the tps is riveted to it

 

Not to hard to do, easy when the TB is out of the car but still possible in, easiest is to get a dremel and just cut a line in the head of the screw....they are rivit topped but have threads so make the rivit into a flat head and just use a screw driver or you may just have to drill off the head, use a large drill bit and drill of the larg head and then use a vice grip to thread the screw out...now that you have them out replace them with some screws with hex/socket head incase you ever have to remove it again...also make sure that the little arm in the sensor is on the throttle arm in there or you will get a code...you'll see what I mean when you have it off, HTH

 

all you need to do is take a hacksaw and cut some slits in the top and use a flat head to take them out
