Default SUSPENSION?

Ok... well i am looking into getting some suspension for my 88 crx Si... and there is a guy looking to trade his tokico blue's with OBX coil overs for some stock struts and springs.... well he was sayin that my 88 crx rear struts wont fit his 90 crx? is that tru? can anyone verify this? i look at my 89 civic and then my 88 crx and they look identical.. thanks any help would be appriciated

yes the guy is rite i dont know why but the 88 model has a differnt rear control arm or something like that that makes it not work with 89-91 models.

dam that **** is hella gay... so its basically just the lower control arm? maybe ill order the megan racin lower controll arm for a 89 and then get 89 suspension

buy new shocks for your car and get decent springs.

dont get used (or new) blues.

and dont use OBX springs. theyre too stiff. they probably destroyed the blues.

i suggest tokico illuminas and eibach prokits for a sporty ride.

Ya well if im going to spend the money im going to buy a set of TEIN SS... i like the setup on my civic so im going to prob just buy a set for my crx... the only prob is there about 1g!!!

shrug. you dont have to spend $1000 for a decent suspension.

you could do illuminas and prokits for less than $600 if you look around. add a rear swaybar for $125. i dont think you can beat that ride.

up to you what you do with your money.

i wouldnt put obx springs on even if they were free. and used blues are pretty worthless, even new ones quite frankly.
