do you think the RSX steering wheel would fit on my EG6?
just about all steering wheels are interchangeable from what i've come to learn. in fact i havent come up on a Honda steering wheel thats not interchangeable yet... from all civics to integras to preludes to s2k's.... they all work with each other...
good luck
good luck
NO NO NO, it won't bolt on properly. The spline is different. It's the same reason why you can't put on a CTR wheel on a EG/DC.

Yes, perhaps if you had an EK, you could put an S2K, EP3R, DC5R, CTR, or Insight wheel on and have the airbag work.

d@mn I guess I will just get one of those detachable ones...I have dual front air bags though in my EG6....I guess it should still be okay right??....or ghetto rig it..buy aftermarket and tie wrap a pillow on it...w00t! w00t!
I'm not saying I know this definitively... but, I have been doing some research and it is known that the DC5 wheel will bolt into an EK. I have found that at least certain EK steering columns will bolt directly into an EG, thus allowing the use of a DC5 wheel in an EG. I'm still working on it but this is what I intend on doing in my car once I have verified this!

lol yea you can do that, but dont go blaming the pillow if ever wreck.

that sounds like a good idea...I will have to look into that myself...if it does work then that would be sweet...cause I really like that steering wheel...hEhE>..
GOOD NEWS!!! found more info on this thread....this guy says it will fit in 96-2000 civics....I will probly do the swap then...check this out
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V
I am wondering though...since 94-2001 integra parts are more interchangable than the 96-2000 civic....maybe I can get a DC steering column and slap that thing on that.

It will fit a 96-00 Civic, but not a 92-95 Civic or 94-01 Integra

I got a 95 civic coupe....hmmm...I am wondering though..why would honda/acura..make that much of a difference in the steering spline diameter between the 96-2000 civic and the 94-2001 integras though.....

Not the spline diameter, it's how the rear 'grooves' slot into the turn signal cancellators. Why not get a 98 spec ITR wheel. It's smaller diameter than the USDM wheel, has SRS, bolts up, and looks kick ***.

I havent seen those actually....I have felt and held the JDM ITR from the DC% chassis though...its nice.....fell in love I guess....
Then why are you excited that the wheel on that eBay auction will fit 96-00 civics? You have a 95 and that wheel will not bolt directly in without serious modification to the hub itself (i.e. welding) or getting the appropriate steering column which is not gonna be from a DC integra. The DC5 wheel will require that you get an EK (96-00) steering column to work in your EG.
that looks pretty sweet...i was on ebay right now checking it out..hEhE...hey thanks for all the help.....

Wow, talk about misinformation. No, not all Honda steering wheels are interchangeable. You can get it to work but some will require extensive mods to do so.
As for the OP, none of the RSX/EP3/S2000 (USDM and JDM) steering wheels will bolt up properly on your EG. You'll be better served with any 1994 - 2001 DC2 steering wheel that bolts right in and the airbag will even work.
