I just noticed than when i'm driving my car revs to like 5 to rpm and then then shifts. When it does this i lift my foot off the pedal and press the gas again and it goes to driving normally. If just started doing like 10 mins ago. When i was on the highway and went into overdrive the engine redline mad times then goes. I hope its not time to get a new tranny cuz it so i am in trouble.

 

First of all before you raced from your car to the computer you should have checked the fluid. If the fluid level is ok then you need to look at it's condition (reddish pink and stink free). If it's dark at all you need to have it flushed with Honda ATF-Z1.
If that is not the problem you may have a solenoid problem.
(also tell us if any dummy lights are on)

 

what is it supposed to smell like and when i turn the car off and restart it. I t starts to drive like normal than start back up again. and the fluid is not redish pinkish its brownish

 

You need to have it flushed with ATF-Z1. This may cure your broblem.

 

could bad tranny fluid also cause a delay in shifting? eg: shifting into reverse from park or shifting to D4 from reverse. It takes about 5 seconds before I can start moving.

It's just like having an inpurity (virus) in your blood. It makes everything act funny.
