hey guys i recently bought a civic the was in a lil accent , i brought u local mechanic told me that i needed a lower control arm and srpings. so as im replacing i notice that there is a solid tube bar that goes from each side of the car and it goes over the cat. it looks like it might be bent would that make one wheel sit farther back than the other one. also wat is this peace called?

your talking about the sway bar.

 

Im gonna say its a Sway bar. It shouldnt make the wheels sit farther back( its a brace more than anything)

Is this on the front or the rear?

is the front of the car , i think i might just go to local junkard and get all the main parts for the passenger side

 

the only one that runs over the cat and from side to side is the sway bar, no need to get another. it wont change the geometry of the suspension.
