am i the only one that thinks flat black slips are hurt?
why do people rock flat black slips? you can hardly see them from far away or at night time. plus when rolling they look like steelies. the only advantage i can see it that they are light weight but if so why no get polished? flat black wheels are ugly to me, anyone agree?

I'm kind of with you, i'm not much a fan of black wheels, they look like the hubcaps fell off you can't afford new ones.

seems like the only thing you care about is being seen... go get a lift kit, drop your bucket on some 24'' spinners, get "crunk", get bent and get banned!

I don't think that's the case...
Really though, why not get wheels that look good. It's not like you have to sacrifice the weight advantage to have a better finish on them. Just look at how much nicer looking Regamasters are.

there's no standard for beauty plus i think people mod their car for their taste and expression, it's more of a emotional things than right/wrong answer.

lol.
They (not the Rota, the originals, Spoon etc etc) were designed to be light, strong, and still look the same after being caked with brake dust after track use.
Thats it. They do that well, even the Rota's of course.
They became a trend, like big wings, canards, lips, carbon fiber, racing seats, etc etc, alot of trends develop from "stuff" found on race cars.
