Not worth the effort.

But, if you've got the money, there's a way to get it done.

First of all, i think you're misunderstanding the point of ls/vtec.
Slapping a vtec head on anything does not instantly make it better.
The reason ls/vtec b20/vtec is an upgrade is because the non-vtec heads of the ls and b20 have smaller ports and valves, and low lift short duration cams. The reason a vtec head is such a big power booster is firstly, it increases compression. Secondly, it breathes way better! It's like going from a breathing to a straw to breathing with an oxygen mask on. The high lift secondary lobes make for really good breathing up top, but the motor is still limited by it's high rod/stroke ratio from the ls/b20 bottom end. People think a vtec head means they can automatically rev to the moon, but the bottom end is also a limiting factor.

Bikes do not really need head swaps (especially the f4i) because they're already engineered to be amazing. The f4i revs to 14k, so what's the point of vtec? Vtec was designed to provide decent torque down low, with high performance up top, without having a really lopy idle. Two cam profiles will get you that.
Modern sport bikes are designed to make power up top. They have nearly perfect rod/stroke ratios, so they can rev really high, and the top ends are built to the hilt to withstand hanging out at extremely high rpms.

Also, the VFR is a v-4, that means each head contains two combustion chambers.
The F4i is an inline 4 which means the head contains four combustion chambers. I'll let you do the math on that.

Also, do some reading on the vtec that's found on the VFR, it's a little different than the vtec you're used to.

*EDIT*
Most sport bikes run 10 second 1/4 miles anyways, so chances are they're gonna have enough power to satisfy you.

yeah - me too

i'm sure you can do engine swaps with other honda models, kind of like how i see some 916 motors in the 748 chassis for the duc's.

The engine compatibility for honda motors in motorcycles is doubtfully as compatible as the B-series for Honda.
