Steering wheel lock broken
My car was stolen a week and a half ago and it turns out they busted the steering wheel lock. The turn signals and wiper blade controls are now canted to the left. Is there any way to fix this? I would like to have the steering wheel lock back but I guess it doesn't matter if it breaks so easy. I just want my control sticks parallel to the floor again. I'm not familiar with this area of my car so any help would be appreciated.
those are broken so that the thieves could steal the vehicle... my advice would be to get used to it, as i have with my salvaged vehicles
sorry to hear about the theft man, hope it doesnt happen again

these can be replaced the cost depoending on car is around 150 dollars at local honda dealership. the only set back is when you replace the steering wheel lock yuou replace the ignition key which wont match to the door or trunk (speaking from experience)

You can straighten your column with some pliers if you tear apart the the column and take everything off including the wheel, you drop the column separately from the tilt mechanism and there are two sides that are going to be bent, just use the pliers to straighten them. Hard to explain, I will do a write up next time I fix one.
