The paint job is not completed, right? My monitor is kind of dark but I dont see any of the design paint done on the fairings? Was this question answered in your other thread?

I really like the 3rd picture

I'm not a huge GSX-R fan, but yours looks pretty good, a little TOO stretched for me, but still pretty cool.

Actually i was going to have the sides airbrushed...but the guy air brushing them (also a close friend of mine) ran out of time, and his mother-in law passed away...maybe later on i'll take it back to him..but for now i think if the fairings were airbrushed it would be too much...plus one little drop and ALL that custom work has to be re-done...front and rear not so prone to getting tore up.

Ya...going straight and looking tough are about your only options here in the great panhandle of northwest florida.

Would never do it...but it looks cool overall. That's mainly because the bike is soo tastily done.

Its a 4-6 inch extension and I have it set to 6. Just enough to make a difference...and just enough to still run in a stock wheelbase category at the drag.

11k rpm launch at the track with both wheels on the ground. Point me to the nearest twisty road around here and you'll be pointing to another state.

Thanks, lol...handling...on the street i can hardly tell a difference...it actually makes the front of the bike feel a lot more stable....it doesen't have tons of flickability...but hell i kind have come to like it...the only thing that really is a nuisance is how low the front is...I can scrape fairings leaving my neighborhood... I'll probably raise the front back up just enough to not do that.

looks good until i saw the back end and how stretched it is. Looks out of place, i know it's for drag purposes, but still looks ugly like that.

Well... At least you've got a good sense of humor about the whole deal, thats refreshing. If I was doing the 1320 or running bonneville I would run extended also. well... that... and if I lived in florida I guess Have you looked into aftermarket one piece swingarm?

Lol, tks....aftermarket 1 piecers are a little out of my price range right now...however once i have a full system, P.CIII, and a 30 shot of giggle juice i will be looking into getting one.

I'm hoping on around 140whp after said mods with proper tuning.

You might be paying too much attention to how the rear is higher than the front... Or you might not...lol.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get a new bike?

In all consideration...i don't care how much power it makes...the joy comes from modifying something to greater than what it was previously, and being able to call it *your own*.

Do you wanna see an R1 get hacked up and turned into a 1/4 mile machine? lol...I don't.

I like the way you put this. It's not my philosophy (I keep all my stuff near-stock), but you explain it well and like Schu said, you have a sense of humor about it.
