ummmm..you should be able to do it from the top. i never heard of needing 2 people for th job. what i would do is try to wedge a wrench in somewhere to hold the nut on the line. so when u turn it it dosent move. the just turn the filter. does that make sence??

see that's wut i thought at first when i first tried it. but than i just kept working at it. 2 days of work couldn't get it out. then i went and bout the $5 dollar craftman crowfoot and got the job done in less than 45 min. here's a link that will deff. help!

http://www.solarshadetruckpara...r.pdf

don't do wut the picture does because u still wont be able to go from underneath. get a 14mm crowfoot adapter and put it on a 8 inch extention. than put a 3/8 ratchet on it and since ur working basically upside down on the bolt..so on the ratchet..loose is going to be tight and tigh is going to be loose. hope this helps. maybe i'll do a how to later...
