how to wire fog relay to turn on without lights
i know the stock settings allow the fog lights only to turn on when the low beams are on.
i have searched and found people changing this so they can turn on with parking lights.
my ? is safely how do i wire the relay so that i can turn on my fog lights withought having to worry about the high/low beams being on/off?
i own a 95 lude vtec if that matters

if you want to be able to manually control the lights, then all you would need it a 3 prong relay. attach power source to the center switch, have one end go to the fogs, and leave the 3rd prong empty/open.
if you want the fogs to go on with the parking lights, you will need a 4 prong, coil activated relay. tap into a parking light bulb, and attach it to the coils power prong, and find a good ground spot for the coils ground prong. and the other 2 prongs are attached to the fogs and power source.
i know they're not called "prongs" but i can't remember what they're called right now. radio shack will have the 1st relay i described, and car toys should have a relay like the 2nd one i described. then all your would need is some 16-18 gauge wire (different colors will help, but are not necessary if you keep track of what wire goes to what), and butt connectors and tapping connectors can be found at radio shack as well.

i'm still confused - i am dealing with the switch that goes next to the hazard switch on the 4th generation 95 vtec center console if that changes things.
there are 4 wires that go into the 4 prong relay.
i want the switch to:
a) light up when the high/low/parking lights are on - just as all buttons
b) when the button is pushed and the fogs turn on there is an indicator light on the switch that lights up
normally B will only work when the low beams are on , but i want it to do both A and B
