S2K Driver's Ed - rollbar info needed
Anybody drive their car at High Performance Driver's Ed and need to put a supplemental rollbar in your S2000?
My friend just bought a Sebring Silver 2002 and will be doing these events in S. Florida Porsche/BMW/Chin Motorsports events and I think most (if not all of these) require more than just the factory roll hoops.
Thanks!

I don't think the hardtop offers much in the way of structural integrity in case of a rollover. I believe most club racing/driver's ed clubs require an aftermarket rollbar (or extension) to ensure that the driver's head (with helmet) is a certain distance below the top of the rollbar.
Anybody have 1st hand experience with this?

You can run Chin events without a rollbar, a few friends of mine have done Sebring and Homestead in their S2000s.
Whether you would want to do that is another question.

Thanks - I'll let him know that Chin doesn't require it. To be safe, are you aware of anyone making rollbars or rollbar extensions for the S2K?
I will have 3 CarBoy mags (imported) (R&D's) with me this weekend... lots of good pics in them.
