Whelp this should be easy:

Driver's side motor mount. Has 1 stud sticking up, and 1 hole. The aftermarket mount lines right up, but the stud isn't threaded all the way down.....
So when I try to bolt the mount on, the nut only goes to the bottom of the threads and won't secure the mount.....
Is there a spacer or something else that goes here??

Sounds me like you have a washer missing. It would also help a ton if you told us what mounts you have.

 

i took the one stud off the d series mount and put it on the new B motor

 

HCP mounts I think. I don't remember any washers.

aha! So does it just hammer out?

Here's a pic of what I'm talking about.
This is not my car or mounts, but it's the top stud there.
