Whats up guys, well yesterday i placed my order for my MUGEN HARDTOP, and i am having way to hard of a time trying to figure out how to paint it. I really like how on all o ther colors of s2k's besides black you can paint the top half the color of ur body and leave the side black. It looks veryyyyyy clean. With black, you dont have much of a choice, it wont show. Anyone have any suggestions on how i can paint my top? (its FRP btw)... thanks

edit: i just did a chop to get a rough idea.. i think i like it?...

this is not my car, i belive 1 of the cars is LUDERS, and the other two i know for sure is GUIDEOS, if any of you feel the need for me to take it down, by all means please message me and ill have ur car image removed ASAP

alrigt after doing this chop.. im pretty sure this is how im going to paint it.. (like a darkkkkkkkk siliverish/grey) on sides.. and berlina on top..... tell me what u guys think......

Luders car has a CF hardtop, so its not really a good base to make your opinion on.

That first s2000 is Guedo512 from s2k, but that me

I was going to paint my sides flat black, but i decided not to. Theirs really no reason to break up the color. If your interior is all black, i suggest you paint the top all black.

Who did you order the top from? King or Tommy?

as far as who i orderd my top from ... i got it from TOMMY... w00t! (great guy)...

and yeah im having doubts now about painting the side a lighter/flat shade =[ ... i guess ih ave a few months to think about it while my top is on its way,...

Any spacers needed to clear those calipers, Urmill?

 

15mm spacers. With rims sitting on new and unshaved 215.45.17s, there's no rubbing on hard bumps or on hard cornering. However, my car is cornerbalanced and not dropped like it's hot. Chicago-area roads are murderous to slammed cars.

& urmil ... as far as ur car being any1's desk top... its acutally been mine for a while...
