Default Changing Transmission

i know this topic has probably reoccured multiple times but i'd like to make it more clear for myself of how much i will actually be spending for a tranny swap from an Auto to a Manual, either through a professional business or if i can just buy parts to get a mechanic to do it for me. thanks again for taking your time in writing this topic again but yes it'll help me more understand of what i'll have to spend to get my tranny swap and engine thank you.

Are you planning to do a engine swap at the same time?

search for a how-to thread on this topic (it has been covered), jot down all the parts you'll need (clutch pedal, cylinder, etc.), then head to the wrecking yard, see what you can find, or see in the for-sale forum if somebody has the stuff you're looking for...research for the best prices and GL on your project

I would check into it a little more.. I know there is a tread about doing a auto/manual swap here.. but for some reason I remember something about a braket having to be cut off and moved forward to make it work.. But that might have been when swapping from a D series auto to a B series auto. I am not 100% sure.
