Default b16a1 plug

First, I'd like to say what's up to everyone. now, the question - we were wondering what the 2-pronged plug is on the back of the block that sits about 10 oclock from the oil filter. it's only a couple of inches away from the oil filter. Thanks.

that would be your knock sensor, try not to damage it.

No, it's the water temp sensor. Knock sensor would be at the 11-12 o clock position directly under the intake manifold and it only has one wiring going to it.

No we are not guessing. It's the water temp/thermo switch for sure. The knock sensor does not have any "prongs". It's just one plastic sleeve. Plus, it's above the oil filter. The only sensor with 2 prongs on a B16a engine is the water temp/thermo switch.

yeah, it's not the knock sensor because the knock sensor is below it. I'll have a pic tomorrow just to clarify. Thanks guys.
