Default Help: Tire rubbing

I'm using 16" MF-10s (by chance, I met someone selling it) on my EG HB, and when using Advan neova 45 series tire tires, I experience rubbing on the plastic wheel well liners when taking turning the steering close to full lock/hard corners . I'm using Spoon twin tube non-adjustables now, and I'm wondering if what solutions I could consider to reduce/eliminate rubbing.

Is there a solution at all? According to most of my friends, I'd just have to live with it, or consider another set of wheels.

What size tires are you running?

You'll probably have to raise up the car, or just deal with it.

Standard Mugen MF-10 offset.
According to some random site, the specs are

16X7 5X114.3 43,50 11 Silver,Bronze

There's ample clearance on the outer fender well, it's just the inner fender liner rubs.

The tire is 225, 45, 16 (asean market only, I think. I was surprised to find that the size isn't mentioned on the English yokohama website, yet here they are mounted on the wheels.. ???)

I guess I'm pretty much stuck, or have to resort to making custom inner fender liners once the current ones develop holes.

Even with the spoon non-adjustables, the car sits quite high already.. I think going even higher might affect handling, but I'll try it if a friend has a spare adjustables he can loan me for testing.

I'm clueless about suspension systems, but I wonder if throwing in adjustable lower control arms to affect the camber might work?

i beleive the 225 tires is the problem. a little to wide. i know on my my 15"s with a stock offset 205 is pushing it and will rub under some circumstances. to my knowledge if you mess with the camber it will get worse if it is rubbing on the inside.

Allright.. I guess the tires have to go then.. Those MF-10s are a keeper in my book (I sort of like them), though a lot of people says that there are much better looking wheels out there.

225/45-16 is way too big. It is about 6% bigger that stock in diameter so your speedo and odometer are thrown off. It is also too side.

Consider 205/40-16. Much better size for your car.
