I have for sale a turbo kit i bought of ebay... I had intended on boosting my D-series CRX, but plans and funds have changed and run out. This is the auction I got the kit from

everything I got will be included, the turbo seems like it may need a rebuild, or you can pick up this same turbo off ebay for cheap... I looked into it, but I dont have the funds anymore... I am getting out of the Marine Corps. and I only have 2 paychecks remaining... so my modifications need be be gotten rid of before I just up and decide to install everything.

Due to the fact that the turbo should probably be rebuilt or replaced, I am selling everything for $175 SHIPPED!!

Everything described in the auction is accurate, but the turbo is not perfect. I don't know much about turbo kits, I know that the turbo came from a subaru, and that everything lined up with minimal work. If there is any interest please let me know. Thanks!

From what I have seen and what was told to me by a friend at a performance shop, it will more then likely need a rebuild... again I don't know much about turbo's and since I couldn't afford to install... he kinda didn't give me much info. But he did say it would be cheaper to probably get a new one of ebay... I believe it is an IHI VF4 turbo. Let me know. Thanks!

i want to keep A/C .. so thats a no go, the turbo manifold does not let me have A/c, plus the turbo needs to be rebuilt/replaced .. so yeah i'd just be replacing it anyways. sorry man

still for sale? your link to ebay says it was sold already? what size is the downpipe? i might just buy the whole kit for just the downpipe

 

The link is just to the auction... I had won the auction, but I could not come up with the funds to use the kit. I don't want to part out as of right now... the downpipe is completely functional, but it is not the prettiest thing in the world. I can probably take some more pics of the D/P if you want. But I would even take $175 shipped on teh whole kit

 

oh ok.. if i could see more pics of the down pipe that would be awesome!.. did you mock up the kit to your car? does the down pipe have any fitment issues? how many bolts are on the down pipe? i will buy the whole kit for 175 shipped if i can get some more pics!!!

 

I will take some more pics tomorrow morning when I can lay everything out in the garage... and yes, I mocked the whole kit up to my car... while I was rebuilding the motor and putting it back in. The downpipe seemed to line up fine on my CRX... but as for other cars I don't know. If you wanted to use the whole kit... these turbo's go for only like $50-75 shipped on ebay... so it wouldn't be hard to get a replacement

updated pics... either of you let me know... D15... you got first shot if not.. CSX it may fit a D16Z6... Well I know it will bolt up... but you may have to mod to fit your specific car, but the manifold will bolt up and everything... the only thing that may need to be redone is the DP, but you will have the turbo attachment and the exhaust attachment, you may just need a pipe bent and welded depending on your vehicle. It would be easier to get a new turbo off ebay, rebuilding will cost more then getting a new one. IHI RHB5 VF4. that is the turbo. Thanks!
