Default Battery relocation to the rear.

Pics and experiences, please.
In the process of doing so, and cared to hear what some of you may have to say regarding relocating your battery some where else.
(pros/cons?, tools?, materials?, cable gauge?, battery tie down?, battery base plate?, Fuse?, Terminals?, distribution blocks?, relay?, battery cutt off switch?,etc.?)

thanks,

Default Re: Battery relocation to the rear. (JEM MotorSports)

do a quick search. will show you lots of pictures and DIY. Just use 4ga or thicker and remember to put in a fuse... depending on your car and the battery/case you use, I have seen it put in the trunk, behind passenger front seat, etc...

If you are racing at a closed circuit track (which, other than making space for turbo, is the only justifiable reason for this), you must consult the rules of your track as to the battery case and location, or the rulebook for whatever class you want to race in.. GL.
