Default GOOD BYE DAKOTA

So i sold this today.

Now I'm thinking of getting a 600cc bike. But I can't decide between honda or kawasaki.
Whats the differences in CBR models as compared to Kawa's? By the way around 1996 is what i'm looking at. I don't wanna spend more then 3-4k.

search for "new bike" or "first bike". that will help you find some good info. there isn't much of a difference between kawa's and honda's in that price range for a first bike in the 600cc range (correct me if im mistaken), it pretty much comes down to personal preference on looks. all modern 2000+ bikes are pretty mechanically sound and will out-perform you. the 3-4k range will end you up right around 95-00 (depending on condition/miles). good luck on finding a bike! i might be selling my car to get a bike this summer too.

Pre 2000 (maybe even up to 2002) CBR600 models make better do-it-all bikes than their K-counterparts. After that, Kawasaki got serious with the ZX636.

1991-1994 = CBR600F2
1995-1998 = CBR600F3
1999-2000 = CBR600F4

The F2 and F3 did not change a lot mechanically. Mostly cosmetic, but the forks in the 1994 F2 and all F3s are better than pre-94 CBR600s. They're reliable and bulletproof when well maintained.

A real bike eh? how about this one:

or maybe this:

sporty enough for ya?

seriously...i love the SV. i've ridden the typical inline 600's but the SV is just plain fun. A LOT of power down low, skinny, nimble, and easy to handle...

get a bike and give me a call...

BTW- got your license yet?
