Type R engine
b18c5. Integra Type R. 195 HP USDM, 200 HP JDM. in a 92-95 hatch, 13's stock. engines go for around 4500-5500 depending on condition and where you get it from.
edit: there's also Civic Type R. b16b. 185 HP, less torque. it's less common a swap because it's just as expensive as the C5. not worth it if youc an get a C5.

Mad I tell ya....Mad! These angry C5's are everywhere.
Just playing. The B18C5 is the most powerful B-series engine that honda made(emphasis on "made" since they are no longer in production) You can find them in the Type-R's.

I've got one and I would not trade it for any other motor - period.
Sure you can build something with more power, but how reliable will it be?
Any time you introduce human error, like say, building up a B18C1 to "ITR specs" or better then you are risking the build. I've seen other motors smoking like crazy because of shady builds, and it's not easy nor cheap to build a B18C1 to outpower a B18C5 and still retain a Honda O.E factory build or its quality.
For the price though?
Depends on how good of a deal you can get.
Paying $6,500 like some do is a little steep. Try http://www.hondamotorsonline.com They sell them for $4,800. You cannot beat that. You could never duplicate the power, better geared and LSD-equipped tranny, reliability, etc. fot the $1,800 you saved by getting a B18C1 swap.
I have had a B18C1 swap in my 1992 Si hatch and it did this:
150whp tuned with all bolt-ons. 122lb/ft. torque too. 14.6 in the 1/4 mile on street tires, full interior.
I had the B18C5 swap in the SAME car and it did:
175whp with only intake, exhaust, and ECU re-chipped. NO tuning.
13.9@100.97mph in the 1/4 mile.
I also have a B16A2 swap in my fiancee's car, and the B16A does not compare to the 1.8L VTEC motors.
Here's my ITR motor after I yanked it out of my old 1992 Si hatch - it's now in my 1992 CX hatchback

As soon as the new car is done I'll update you
Does that help at all?
