Default Did some searching, time to ask...short shift kit?

I did a little bit of searching around and found nothing to answer my question, I have a 1990 Accord EX and I want a short shift kit for it but most of the places I'm looking say that the kits will work for 91-93 Accords. I was unaware that there was any difference in the 4th gen trannys and thought that a good portion of the parts on the 92-96 Ludes and 90-97 Accords were actually interchangable. If anyone has suggestions, comments, or facts on this, please let me know. I like the height of my shift **** as is so I don't want anything that's going to make it much if any shorter, just shorten the throws. Like I said, all recommendations and info welcome. Thanks all.

i dont think there is a diffrence but i made mine http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/sh...ifter

you can also use the prelude shifters that shorten the throw a little or just use one of the ebay kits that just do what the DIY dose.

there are couple prelude short throw shifters out there that are good but cost a lot

Much appreciated on the input there, I'll definately look into the fabricating one option and props to you for coming up with that DIY. Other info on shift kits and interchangability?

I just got a short shifter from forbidden motorsports for my 92 Accord. It hasn't been installed yet, but check them out.

Forbidden Motorsports & PSPEC Tuning

Have heard good things about both companies.

PSPEC has one listed for the 90-93 Accords.

The PSPEC kit is supposed to be pretty good. I'm gonna get it for my '95 pretty soon.
